24 packs of 6 cards.
Rookie cards are 1:2 packs, and every one of them is worth at least $1.00. Included are Cliff Lee, So Taguchi, Freddy Sanchez, Oliver Perez, Chone Figgins and Brandon Backe.
There are tons of short-print cards in the base set, and inserts include Longevity, each numbered to 100 or 25. There are autographed cards that book between $10 and $40, or are so rare that Beckett doesn’t give them prices.
Homers cards, which start at $25 and go up to $50, include memorabilia on them. Another memorabilia card insert is Dress For Success. Those are individually numbered to 250, but another memorabilia insert, Freshman Orientation, is not. Lowest booking of those is $10.
Superstars also are the norm in Statistical Standouts that book up to $15, and the same insert with memorabilia on the card, booking from $10 to $30 each.
Some greats from the past are represented on Triple Threads cards. Three superstars’ jersey swatches are on each of these inserts. Among those whose uniforms make up the set are Reggie Jackson, Don Mattingly, Mike Piazza, Gary Carter, Dale Murphy, Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Rickey Henderson, Johnny Bench, Nolan Ryan, Stan Musial, Tom Seaver and the list goes on and on. Stars from the early 2000s are on there, too, like Chipper Jones, Alex Rodriguez, Alfonso Soriano, Ivan Rodriguez and Scott Rolen. They book between $25 and $100.
View Masters, another memorabilia insert, features such players as Tony Gwynn, Chipper Jones, Alfonso Soriano, Curt Schilling, Vladimir Guerrero, Carlos Delgado, Greg Maddux, Rickey Henderson, Piazza and Bernie Williams.
There are plenty more inserts, meaning that you should get a bunch in this box.
