The great defensive back was an All-Pro for an incredible 12 straight years. He only missed being selected in his first year (with the Houston Oilers in 1967) and his final season with Washington in 1980. That year, he only started five games. Just six years later, he was recognized with induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Houston was named to the first team All-1970s pro football squad. Houston ranks ninth all time for interceptions returned for touchdowns and 12th for non-offensive TDs in NFL history.
The strong safety penned his name and the year of his HOF induction on this custom jersey, which is certified by James Spence Authentication. A representative of JSA was present when Houston signed and inscribed the jersey.
