Not seen often, here is Kevan Barlow’s autograph on a custom, mesh, screen-print 49ers jersey. It came from Fleer Genuine Memorabilia, which includes a holographic sticker and numbered certificate in a Fleer envelope.
Barlow played five of his six pro seasons in San Francisco, where he averaged better than 4 yards a carry and scored 24 touchdowns. In his third season (2003), he averaged better than 5 yards per rush and amassed 1,024 yards despite starting just four games that year.
He was traded to the New York Jets before the 2006 season, where he averaged just 2.8 yards (370 yards overall). He was released after that year, but still averaged a career 3.9 yards every time he ran the ball.
Barlow has recently been a philanthropist and a supporter of children’s charities.
